Call for Contribution Queer Colloquium Summer Term 2025

Are your working with queer topics? The Queer Colloquium provides an interdisciplinary and cross-level forum to exchange ideas, present ongoing research, discuss theory, and invite feedback and conversation. People from all disciplines either working in Queer Studies or with queer theories or methodologies or topics are warmly invited to participate. We offer a safe space for discussing anything queer in your term paper, BA/MA/PhD thesis or any scientific project that you're currently working on.

If you want to contribute to the colloquium with a presentation, please send an email to
d.eckel@zegk.uni-heidelberg.de with

• your topic
• your affiliation/course of study and level (BA, MA, PhD, Post Doc)
• a brief abstract (no more than 100 words, word or pdf file)

Submission and presentations can be either in English or German. There will be five sessions à 60 minutes. In case of a big response to the call we will extend the sessions to 90 minutes. The venues will be in different institutes in Heidelberg Altstadt. The programme and the venues will be announced mid April. DEADLINE: April 15, 2025
